EU AI Act — Article 6(1) High-Risk Product Rules Apply

Article 6(1) of the EU AI Act becomes applicable, extending high-risk classification and its obligations to AI systems embedded as safety components in products already covered by EU harmonisation legislation. General-purpose AI models placed on the market before 2 August 2025 must also be brought into compliance by this date.
