EU AI Act — General Application Date

The bulk of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act becomes applicable. Obligations for Annex III high-risk AI systems, notified bodies, penalties and national governance take effect (all except Article 6(1)). Member States must also have at least one operational AI regulatory sandbox in place by this date.
